We will work with anyone to get scuba certified. Our instructors teach lessons in Dallas, Plano, Garland, Frisco, Rockwall and even Arlington and Ft. Worth. We provide private instruction where we will meet you on your schedule 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even in your own pool if you wish, as long as we keep in training standards so that you get the training you need to feel comfortable and confident when you make your first ocean dive.

The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course is an entry-level certification course designed to give you the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives. Some of the many skills you will learn include buoyancy, proper weighting, marine conservation, equipment assembly, proper dive planning, and maintenance. The course covers all the basic knowledge about equipment, physiology and the marine environment while training students to perform basic skills underwater. This course is the key to start exploring dive destinations around the globe or just in your backyard.

All Open Water Scuba Students Need These Three Parts:

Class

  • (7 hrs Approximate)
  • Scuba lessons are held on location in our multimedia classroom complete with surround sound, 8 ft. video screen, demonstration models and reference library.
  • This is where you learn the basics of scuba. Our classes are limited to 8 maximum.
  • This ensures that you get the chance to ask Divemasters and Instructors questions you may have. This also gives you a chance to meet others becoming divers themselves.

Online Classroom

  • (4 hours average; Includes 2 hr 30 min. of interactive demonstrations)
  • Work at your own pace
  • Available on any web enabled computer
  • We'll review your work with an Instructor once your done
  • Hands on with the equipment is covered during pool sessions.
  • Call or e-mail to ask any questions, there's always an instructor or divemaster available!

  • We'll train scuba anywhere, anytime in Dallas Area and surrounding communities including Garland, Rowlett, Terrell, Greenville, Plano, Richardson, and Frisco

Pool

  • (7 Hrs Approximate)
  • Held at private indoor heated pool.
  • Bathrooms on site
  • Bring your swimsuit!

  • (4 hrs Approximate)
  • In our pool or anywhere in Dallas, DFW Metroplex, as long as it meets requirements.
  • We'll bring the gear!

 Open Water Weekend

Instructor and Divemaster Lead Group Tours

  • This is the part of the course where students who have demonstrated excellent diving skills in the pool, show us what they've learned.
  • Includes 4 scuba dives where we take the student on Instructor or Divemaster lead tours around local dive spots, usually Clear Springs Scuba Park in Terrell or Athens Scuba Park in Athens.
  • Afterwards you're certified we can go ahead and dive more!

How do I get Started with my Scuba Lessons?
    1. Come into the facility at your earliest convenience or Start your online classroom now!
    2. Pick out dates that work for you, or we can provide private scuba lessons in the Dallas Area near you.
    3. Come to Class or Online students will logon with a person PIN number you can receive at the store or online, click logo above.

What Else Do I Need for my Scuba Training, Lessons?
All divers will eventually need their own gear, we provide most of it, except the personal gear that you need, (it would be difficult for us to keep clean sets of masks, snorkel, fins and booties to fit every diver).
